The basic requirements are that applicants should have credits passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects’ core subject English, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social. Elective subjects Government, Economics, Literature in English, French, Business Management.

BA Social Work KNUST Admission Requirement

Applicants must satisfy the university’s general requirements. To be qualified for admission prospective applicants must have the following requirements.


  • Credit passes in three core subjects English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social.
  • Credit passes in three elective subjects Literature in English, History, Government, Economics, Business Management, Electives Mathematics, General Arts Electives,Science Electives


Applicants with A’ Level qualification must have five (5) credits at O’ Level, including English and Mathematics and passes three (3) in A’ Level subjects: History, Government, Religious Studies, Government, Literature in English.


You must be 25 years of age to qualify at the time of summiting your applicant forms.
