The Department of Supply Chain Management at the KNUST School of Business, in collaboration with the Center for Applied Research and Innovation in Supply Chain-Africa (CARISCA), is inviting applications for admission into its Master’s degree programs.

This esteemed institution, known for its commitment to training, research, and innovation, is a global center of excellence that plays a pivotal role in addressing complex development challenges within Ghana and across the African continent.

About CARISCA

CARISCA is dedicated to the training, generation, and translation of supply chain management research and innovations into positive development outcomes.

With a focus on health and agriculture supply chains, CARISCA seeks to build capacity through education, training, and applied research.

The center engages private sector partners and policymakers, applying research and best practices to tackle development issues, thanks to funding from USAID.

KNUST Department of Supply Chain Management Master of Science Programs

The Department of Supply Chain Management and Information Systems, with support from CARISCA, is offering prospective applicants the opportunity to pursue 18-month full-time Master of Science programs in three specializations:

1. MSc Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Management

2. MSc Health Supply Chain Management

3. MSc Agricultural Supply Chain Management

KNUST DEPARTMENT OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT MSc Programmes Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission into the Master’s programs offered by the Department of Supply Chain

candidates must meet the following entry requirements in line with the School of Graduate Studies at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology:

1. A bachelor’s degree qualification with a second class lower division in relevant disciplinary areas, including Pharmacy, Healthcare-related programs, Health Administration, Agriculture/Agribusiness, and Business Administration.

2. Preference will be given to applicants with first and second (upper) class qualifications in relevant disciplinary areas.

3. Enthusiasm for cutting-edge research, a team spirit, and the capability of independent problem-solving.

4. Proficiency in English, both oral and written.

5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

KNUST Department of Supply Chain Management Application Process

Interested candidates can apply online via the provided link, where they should submit the following documents:

1. Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)

2. Official Academic transcript

3. Two letters of reference (one from a supervisor at the bachelor’s level)

4. Completed application form with two passport photographs

5. Bachelor degree certificates

Completing KNUST Application Form

Candidates are required to purchase the e-voucher based on information provided at the Admission Portal and complete the relevant application documents.

After completion, MSc candidates must print out two copies of the completed application form from the portal and submit signed copies (by post) to the School of Graduate Studies.

This submission should include all relevant documents, such as photocopies of certificates, recommendation letters, and transcripts.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates for the Master’s programs offered by the Department of Supply Chain will be required to attend a selection interview in Kumasi or via telephone/Zoom.
