The UDS access course in nursing is a program offered by the University for Development Studies.
UDS nursing access course is offered to both international applicants and domestic who holds certificates in Enrolled Nursing Nurse Assistant Clinical (NAC) and Nurse Assistant Preventive (NAP) to prepare them for bachelor of science in nursing
Upon completion of the UDS access course in nursing, students are better prepared to meet the entry requirements for formal nursing programs.
Applicants achieving a minimum pass mark of 50% (equivalent to C5) or higher in the specified courses are eligible to apply for admission to either the BSc Nursing or BSc Midwifery program. Successful candidates will be enrolled at level 100 for Nursing and level 200 for Midwifery, respectively
The program will happen for eight (8) weeks, during July and August of the 2024 school year. It will only be on Saturdays and Sundays.

All prospective students who meet the requirements for UDS nursing access courses qualify to apply to study the program.
After completing the UDS nursing access course, you will receive a certificate of completion. This qualification allows you to proceed to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the University for Development Studies.
