KBN offers a one academic year financial bursary to brilliant but needy students in dying need of support. KNUST Ketewa Biara Nsua (KBN) Scholarship is by far one of the most sought after scholarships in the school as a result of the easy application and promptness in payment provided the student qualifies for the bursary.

Eligibility for KNUST Ketewa Biara Nsua (KBN) Scholarship

This bursary is opened to all Ghanain students of the university in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd academic years, pursuing a fulltime undergraduate program. A student has to be Brilliant but Needy to qualify for the KNUST Ketewa Biara Nsua (KBN) Scholarship. Academic records in the school will surely be considered in selection of deserving students. Final year students do not qualify for this bursary. Students on any other scholarships or financial aid do not qualify  for this award regardless of the fact that this award is not necessarily geared towards payment of fees but rather, survival in the school, be it academic aid, or coverage of living expenses.

Students must present themselves needy before the interviewing pannel
Students are to attach a letter of proof of need
Students Attach a signed an stamped results slip from the department exam officer

Completed applications may be submitted in the offices specified below in the various Colleges, or to the Office of the Dean of Students, J. Harper Building, KNUST Commercial Area, Room 19/20.
All documents must be signed and sealed in an envelope with the Applicant’s name, program and phone number boldly written on it.
Any write-up should be typed with the font Times New Roman, size 12 and double-spaced.
No Application will be accepted after the deadline.
