The Diploma in Architectural Technology program at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) focuses on providing students with a solid foundation in architectural design, construction technology, and building systems.

The aims is to equip students with the practical and technical skills needed to assist architects in the design and construction of buildings, as well as understanding the fundamentals of architectural planning and execution.

KNUST DIPLOMA IN ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

In order to get admission to study at KNUST for a diploma in Architectural technology, applicants must meet the below requirements.

SSSCE/WASSCE holders who have passes (A-D/A1-D7) in three (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science plus credit in three (3) elective subjects.
Ordinary Level holders with passes (1-8) in at least five (5) subjects at G.C.E. “O” level (or its equivalent including English and Mathematics).
Proficiency Certificate in Architectural Draughtsman ship with passes (A-D/A1-D7) at SSSCE/WASSCE in English, Mathematics and Integrated Science.
Construction Technician Certificate (CTC) 1 & 2 and other related professional certificates

DURATION OF KNUST DIPLOMA IN ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY

The KNUST Diploma In Architectural Technology is a two (2) years program which leads to the award of the diploma in Architectural Technology.

Applicants should purchase an Online application e-voucher at a cost of GH¢170.00 for Ghanaian applicants and US$150.00 for Foreign Applicants from ECOBANK, GCB Bank and CBG and APPLY ONLINE. Applicants can also dial *447*160# on ALL NETWORKS and follow the prompts to purchase the form.

1. Applicants SHOULD visit https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions and complete an Online Application using the e-voucher provided.

2. Applicants must ensure that they purchase Distance Learning forms and NOT Regular KNUST forms to avoid complications.

3. Only results and/or documents provided by applicants when submitting their application documents shall be considered.

4. A copy of the COMPLETED ONLINE FORMS should be printed and posted using EMS envelope together with all relevant certificates/required documents to reach: The Institute Registrar, Institute of Distance Learning
