KNUST Cut-Of Points For WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s varied programmes require prospective students with WASSCE/SSSCE certifications to meet certain admission requirements. An applicant for admission to a degree program at the university must have earned credits in the three WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science).
Additionally, credits earned in three elective WASSCE/SSSCE subjects, or its equivalent, that are pertinent to the chosen program and have an overall score of 24 or higher (WASSCE: A1-C6/SSSCE A-D) ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR ADMISSION PURPOSES.
It is worth noting that the THREE CORE SUBJECTS are prerequisites for all Programmes of study at our university.
KNUST Cut-Off Points For Advanced Level/Mature Applicants
Candidates must have at least FIVE credits at the GCE O’ Level, including English Language and Mathematics (or an approved equivalent), as well as passes in at least THREE courses at the Advanced Level/Three Credits in the case of mature candidates.
Additionally, the candidate must meet the necessary Faculty or Departmental requirements.
KNUST Cut-Off Points For General Business Certificate Examination
Applicants must have passed in THREE Compulsory Subjects including English Language and passes in THREE Elective Subjects including Business Mathematics
KNUST Cut-Off Points For Advanced Business Certificate Examination
Applicants must have passed THREE Compulsory Subjects plus THREE (3) Optional Subjects relevant to the Programme of study

Is KNUST Cut Off Points Out For 2024

Is C6 Accepted In KNUST?
According to the university’s admission cut-off points, only candidates with A1, B2, B3, C4, C5, and C6 in their WASCCE examination qualify for admission at KNUST.
Moreover, candidates with A, B, C, and D, in the SSSCE also qualify to apply for study admission space in the university for their selected courses.
Will I Get Admission If I Meet KNUST Admission Cut-Off Points?
Admission in KNUST is not automatic. This means, simply meeting the cut-off points and applying does not guarantee you admission into the school.
This is because the selection of students is highly competitive and does not necessarily base on the first-come-first-served principle.
The admission board will process your application and your chances of getting admission into the university will be based on competing with other applicants.
However, getting admission to the Kumasi-based university is not difficult as it sounds.
What Happens If I Do Not Meet The Cut-Off Points?
