GENERAL ARTS COURSES AT KNUST ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
To be eligible for admission into general arts courses at KNUST, prospective students must meet certain requirements. These requirements include.
WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS
Credit passes in core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science and Credit passes in elective subjects or its equivalent relevant to the chosen programme with aggregate 24 or better (WASSCE A1-C6/SSSCE A-D) D7, E8, F9 are not accepted.
GENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE (GBCE)
Holders who possess passes in three compulsory subjects including English Language and Mathematics and passes in any three elective subjects.

It will be very difficult for a g-arts student with no science background to switch into health. Cause without the Biology, physics and chemistry background, you cannot keep up with the class. So it is advices you take short courses on these 3 subjects and write novdec on them to attach to your records that u have background in them

You can. Attach the second results to the first one when filling the form. Then calculate the grades with the best 6 from both examinations. After, compare the commuted grade to the cut off point for economics. If you meet it, you’re good to go

Journalism is not really offered in knust. Unless you go to the media and journalism schools. But in a recent article, the school has said that it is planning to establish a “medical journalism and communication department” which is yet to start. So for now, we only have media and publishing studies in which you can gain requisite skills to be in the media business, journalism included

It will be very difficult to offer an Engineering course with a general arts back ground. But there are various similar courses under the college of arts that you can easily get. Architecture, Construction Technology, Quantity Surveying, Real Estate Design, Land Economy, amongst many which are all along the same path of construction.
