Applicants for admission to a degree program at the university must have earned credits in the three WASSCE/SSSCE Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science)
Additionally, credits earned in three elective WASSCE/SSSCE subjects, or its equivalent, that are pertinent to the chosen program and have an overall score of 24 or higher

Is C6 Accepted In KNUST?
According to the university’s admission cut-off points, only candidates with A1, B2, B3, C4, C5, and C6 in their WASCCE examination qualify for admission at KNUST.
Moreover, candidates with A, B, C, and D, in the SSSCE also qualify to apply for study admission space in the university for their selected courses.
Will I Get Admission If I Meet KNUST Admission Cut-Off Points?
Admission in KNUST is not automatic. This means, simply meeting the cut-off points and applying does not guarantee you admission into the school.
This is because the selection of students is highly competitive and does not necessarily based on the first-come-first-served principle.
The admission board will process your application and your chances of getting admission into the university will be based on competing with other applicants.
However, getting admission to the Kumasi-based university is not difficult as it sounds.
