The University of Ghana Medical School is a Six (6) years degree programmed which leads to the award of Medicine degree.
The basic requirements are that applicants should have credit passes (A1 – C6) in six (6) subjects’ core subject English, Mathematics, Intergrated Science or Social Studies. Elective subjects Chemistry and two from Physics, Biology and Further Mathematics
Applicants must satisfy the university’s general requirements. To be qualified for admission prospective applicants must have the following requirements.
Three (3) of the following ‘A’ Level Subjects:
Chemistry and two from Physics, Biology and Mathematics
Where the other two subjects are Biology and Mathematics, candidate must have a pass in GCE ‘O’ Level Physics.
Candidate must also have passes in GCE ‘O’ level English Language and Mathematics
