KNUST Online Application 2024 Opening Date

Admissions for enrollment at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) opens on April 10, 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications starting from the opening date.

KNUST Online Application Closing Date

Applications for study admission at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) close on 29 November 2024. Prospective applicants seeking study admission cannot submit applications after the application deadline.

How To Apply To KNUST Online

  • Go to KNUST admission portal.
  • Applicants should buy an e-voucher at the Cal bank, Zenit bank, GCB, Ghana Post Company on the short code provided.
  • Login with your e-voucher serial number and pin
  • Select the qualification to which you want to apply (e.g., undergraduate qualification)
  • All applicants are required to upload passport picture with a green background in jpg, jpeg, png or gif format and must not exceed 100 KB in size
  • Fill the KNUST online application form and submit online.
  • After completing, you must print two copies of the application form you filled out online.

Again, be sure to read the application directions carefully to ensure that you provide all the necessary documentation and personal information.

It should be noted that using DHL, EMS, or FedEx is the best method to mail your documents.

KNUST does not refund application fees in the event that an applicant is not granted admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology

KNUST Admission Requirements 2024

Applicants must satisfy the university’s general requirements. To be qualified for admission prospective applicants must have the following requirements.

WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS

Applicant must have credits in three (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science. And also credits in three (3) elective subjects or its equivalent relevant to the chosen programme with aggregate 24 or better.

General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE) Applicants

Applicants must have passes in three compulsory subjects including: English Language and three elective subjects, including Business Mathematics.

O’ LEVELS/MATURE and GCE/IGCSE (CAMBRIDGE)

Five credits at the GCE/GCSE O’ Level including Mathematics and English Language. Also, you must pass three or more subjects at the Advanced Level as a mature applicant.

Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE)

As an applicant, you must have passed three compulsory subjects which include English Language and passes in three elective subjects including Business Mathematics.

      Journalism is not really offered in knust. Unless you go to the media and journalism schools. But in a recent article, the school has said that it is planning to establish a “medical journalism and communication department” which is yet to start. So for now, we only have media and publishing studies in which you can gain requisite skills to be in the media business, journalism included

      For degree nursing, it’s best you are a science student. But a general arts student can apply for diploma nursing after which, you can further to do degree nursing. This is because, the admission requirements favours the science student. And the teaching pattern too, is a build up of the science courses. So gaining admission as a g-arts student into knust to pursue degree nursing tends to be difficult

      Find the correct name of the school from your WASSCE Certificate. Sometimes, how the name is pronounced is different from the writing. For instance, KASS (Kumasi Anglican Senior High School) is officially written as “Anglican Senior High School” and that’s what is in the list. So be sure of the exact name of your school
