Below are all the diploma courses currently offered at the University of Ghana.

KNUST Diploma Courses Entry Requirements

Holders of Diploma in Community Health Nursing with a good pass and have at least TWO (2) years of work experience.

Diploma (Top-Up) Programmes- Sandwich

Candidates must have at least three (3) years of experience and meet the minimum university admission criteria of six (6) credits, which includes English language, mathematics, and integrated science.

Again, minimum of THREE (3) years of work experience is required of applicants who pass the Institute of Distance Learning’s (IDL) KNUST Access Programme.

Applicants also need to meet the specific requirements listed below for each of the different programmes.

Diploma In General Nursing

REQUIRED MUST possess a Health Assistant Clinical (HAC) certificate

Diploma In Community Health Nursing

REQUIRED MUST possess a Community Health Nurse (CHN) certificate

KNUST Diploma Courses Mode of Application

• Candidates need to get an e-Voucher from Ghana Post.
• The e-Voucher has a PIN and a login ID, also known as an application ID, that will allow entry to the online admissions portal.
• Candidates should start the application process by going to the online admissions portal.
• Candidates must print TWO (2) copies of their completed Application Form after the process is finished, and they must deliver these, along with other necessary paperwork (transcripts and photocopies of certificates), to the Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs) at KNUST.

HOW MANY YEARS IS A DIPLOMA COURSE AT KNUST?

Diploma courses at KNUST are usually 2 to 3 years long.

Does KNUST Accept D7 for Diploma?

Yes, kNUST accepts grade D7- E8 for admission into the diploma programs.
