The BSc Hospitality and Tourism Management KNUST is a four-year program which leads to the award of the degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

The basic requirements are that applicants should have credit passes (A1 – C6) in six (6) subjects’ core subject English, Mathematics, Intergrated Science or Social Studies. 3 passes in elective subjects from the following groups General Science, Home Economics, Business.

Applicants must satisfy university’s requirements. To be qualified for admission the prospective must have the following requirements.

WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS

Credits passes in three (3) core subjects: English language, Mathematics, Integrated Science. Credit passes in three (3) electives subject in the following groups: General Science, Home Economics, Business

A’ LEVEL APPLICANTS

Five (5) credits at O’ Level including Mathematics and English Language, plus three (3) A’ Level or equivalent passes in Business, General Science, General Arts.

MATURE APPLICANTS

Applicants must be 25 years at the summiting the application.

EITHER five (5) credits at O’ Level including: English Language and Mathematics

OR credit passes in three elective subjects in the following groups: General Science, Vocational/Home Economics, General Arts.

Applicants must pass an interview and an Entrance Examination.
