BSc Statistics KNUST cut off points is 15. Applicant must have credit in the following courses:

Three core subjects English, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social. Three electives’ subjects including Mathematics.

Duration of BSc Statistics KNUST course

The BSc Statistics KNUST is a four-year program which leads to the award of the degree in Statistics.

What are the grades needed for KNUST Statistics Course

The basic requirements are that applicants should have credit passes (A1 – C6) in six (6) subjects’ core subject English, Mathematics, Intergrated Science or Social Studies. 3 passes in elective  subjects including Mathematics

BSc Statistics KNUST Admission requirements

Applicants must satisfy the university’s general requirements. To be qualified for admission prospective applicants must have the following requirements.

WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS

Credits passes in three (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science. Credit passes in three (3) elective subjects including: Mathematics.

ADVANCE LEVEL APPLICANTS

Five (5) credit passes at GCE O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics and Additional Elective Mathematics Plus Three (3) passes at the A’ Level including Mathematics.

MATURE APPLICANTS

Applicants must be 25 years at the time of submitting the application.

EITHER five (5) credits pass at GCE O’ Level or its Equivalent including English Language, Mathematics and additional Elective Mathematics.

OR WASSCE/SSSCE credit passes in three core subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science plus credit passes in any three (3) Elective subjects including Mathematics.

A’LEVEL APPLICANTS

Five (5) credits at O’ Level including English Language, Mathematics plus passes at the A’ Level or equivalent in three (3) of the following relevant subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology or Botany.

HND APPLICANTS

Applicants that also meet any of the above requirements will be admitted into year two. Applicants are expected to pass an interview.
