What are grades needed for BSc Linguistics KNUST Course

The basic requirements are that applicants should have credits passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects’ core subject English, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social. Elective subjects Government, History, Geography, Economics.

Duration of BSc Linguistics KNUST course

The BSc Linguistics KNUST is a four-year program which leads to the award of the degree in Linguistics.

  • Credit passes in three electives from one of the following groups A. Ghanaian Language, English Literature ( Twi, Fante, Ewe, Ga) foreign Language ( Igbo, Yoruba, French, Wolof). B Government, History, Geography, Economics, Business Management, Religious Studies.

A’ LEVEL APPLICANTS

Applicants with A’ Level qualification must have five (5) credits at O’ Level, including English and Mathematics and passes three (3) in A’ Level subjects from the following groups A. Ghanaian Language, English Literature ( Twi, Fante, Ewe, Ga) foreign Language ( Igbo, Yoruba, French, Wolof). B Government, History, Geography, Economics, Business Management, Religious Studies.

MATURE APPLICANTS

You must be 25 years of age to qualify at the time of summiting your applicant forms.

Applicants can be with WASSCE/SSSCE or O level qualification.
