The KNUST BSc Chemical Engineering is a four-year degree program which leads to the award of the BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in fieldwork and research projects, which provide hands on experience and allow them to apply the concepts they have learned in a practical setting.

BSc Chemical Engineering cut off point is 10. Applicants must have credits in the following courses.
Three (3) core subjects English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social. Three (3) elective subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. These courses must sum up to 10 or better for applicants to get admission.
The basic requirements are that applicants should have credits passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects’ core subject English, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social. Elective subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
Applicants must satisfy the university’s general admission requirements. To be qualified for admission the prospective applicants must have the minimum requirements.
Applicants with A’ Level qualification must have five (5) credits including English Language and Mathematics and passes three (3) in any of the electives Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Applicants must be 25 years at the time summiting application EITHER Five (5) credits at the O’Level including: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry OR WASSCE/SSSCE credit in THREE (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science and credit passes in THREE (3) elective subjects: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
