The study of chemical reactions that take place inside of biological things is known as biochemistry. It includes examining the chemical processes and pathways that occur in cells, as well as how these processes are controlled. Many scientific disciplines, such as health, agriculture, and biotechnology, depend heavily on biochemistry.
BSc Biochemistry KNUST program is designed to provide students with a thorough understanding of the chemical and biological principles that underlie life processes.
The aim of the program is to provide students with a strong foundation in the principles and techniques of Biochemistry. Through a combination of theoretical and practical coursework, students will gain an understanding of the chemical processes that occur within living organism.
The KNUST BSc Biochemistry is a four-year degree program which leads to the award of the BSc degree in Biochemistry.
Students also gain practical experience in laboratory techniques and research methods.
